Upcoming Three-Day Wine Festival at Lake Garda!

The Veneto region is certainly no stranger to wine. With some of the best vinyards in the world, and the yearly VinItaly Show (one of the largest tradeshows in the wine industry) being hosted in Verona, wine is practically part of the lifeblood of the greater Verona area. And that says a lot, when you’re in an entire country already famous for its wine. So is anyone too surprised that there’s another wine festival coming up?

The Festival Street Wine Garda is returning to the picturesque Regina Adelaide lakefront in the town of Garda (on, of course, Lake Garda)! From July 6th to 8th, the Municipality of Garda will be the ultimate destination for wine enthusiasts. This charming spot on Lake Garda will transform into a sprawling open-air wine cellar for the seventh edition of this summer festival celebrating traditional wines and flavors. Each evening from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., visitors can wander around with their iconic tasting kits, enjoying music from pianos, violins, and DJs.

Street Wine Garda offers an elegant and vibrant wine-tasting experience overlooking the lake. The festival will showcase the region’s best wines, with over 150 labels from wineries and protection consortia in Veneto and Lombardy. The event features dedicated tasting areas for typical products and free access to musical performances. It promises a complete food, wine, and cultural experience, with a carefully curated selection of wines promoting conscious drinking in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Truly, if you want an authentic Italian wine-tasting experience, this is it. So if you’re in the area looking for something to do from July 6th to 8th, we highly recommend you go!

Visitors will receive a map showing all the participating wineries. At the central cash desk, you can buy a tasting ticket, which includes 8 tokens for 15€ and a tasting glass in a convenient pocket. Participants can freely explore the event and enjoy all the organized activities. Access to the festival route is free, with wine tastings available for a fee.
