Gardaland Aims to Hire 1,000 Workers with New Hiring Plan

With a new resort and vacation season approaching, Gardaland Resort unveils its reinforced commitment to enhancing seasonal contracts, a journey initiated back in 2022. The Resort is on the lookout for fresh talent to join its vibrant workforce across diverse areas. From the exhilarating Amusement Park to the enchanting Legoland® Water Park, and from the captivating Sea Life Aquarium to its three distinct hotels – Gardaland Hotel, Gardaland Adventure Hotel, and Gardaland Magic Hotel.

For the 2024 season, Gardaland is announcing the extension of contracts, offering a comprehensive package with increased weekly hours, favoring full-time positions over part-time ones. Moreover, the contractual wages have been revised upwards, surpassing the benchmarks set by the current Collective Labor Agreement in the Tourism Industry. In a bid to ensure excellent visitor experiences, Gardaland is placing extra emphasis on training it’s new workforce.

Focusing on having both highly skilled employees, as well as ones that will stick around for a while, Gardaland reaffirms its commitment to returning seasonal staff, acknowledging their contributions with additional financial incentives. The Resort sees the continuity of seasonal workforce as irreplaceable to forging a great team, going beyond just the summer months to span from March through November.

Gardaland is also introducing big changes to its “STAR incentive system,” which aims to reward employees for outstanding work. Deserving employees now will receive monthly bonuses along with personalized surprises, as they put in efforts to grow a real sense of community and appreciation among staff. Additionally, the introduction of a Guest Excellence Bonus underscores Gardaland’s commitment to guest satisfaction, offering an additional bonus incentive to seasonal staff. So, if you have a great time at Gardaland, make sure to let them know!

And, as part of its continuing employee-centric approach, there is yet another bonus tied to how long an employee has been employed, which rewards seasonal staff who complete their contracts. Plus, of course, employees receive free access to all the parts, and the company Canteen/Cafeteria as well.

The recruitment drive at Gardaland is in full swing, with approximately 500 seasonal positions filled since March, and an additional 500 slated for recruitment starting June. Gardaland also wants to grow it’s permanent workforce, especially in technical and maintenance roles, aiming to increase its current team of around 230 staffers.

Job opportunities at Gardaland span various domains, from technicians and maintenance engineers to food & beverage staff, attraction operators, ticket office personnel, sales staff, and hotel professionals. The Resort welcomes individuals with diverse skill sets and experiences, offering both full-time and part-time positions, with contracts extending from March to early November, subject to renewal until January 2025.

So, what does this mean for someone visiting Gardaland on their next vacation in the Veneto region? Well, it means an even better experience for you and your family, and a reassurance that the staff making your trip magical, are being truly valued and taken care of themselves! Initiatives like these, to treat employees fairly and ethically, are one of the many reasons that Gardaland remains the most popular theme park in Italy!
